Why is it that when someone was robbed, we curse the robbers? When someone was kidnapped, we are mad by the kidnappers? Yet when someone was seacuelly harassed, we blamed the victims? Seriously? Is this how the world works now? This is the one of the toxic culture of people: Victims blaming

One of the problems that are faced by women are the constant harassment in the streets. they recieve unwanted comments, gestures, and actions forced on a stranger in a public place without their consent and is directed at them. One may say that,”Maybe your clothes are too revealling.” “Stop dressing like as slut.” but trust me, women are not to blame. They are not at fault.
Even though some women might harassed some ather men, reports about sexual harassment among women are more frequent
Harassment is about power and control. It includes whistling, learning sexist, homophobic or transphobic slurs, persistentrequestnfor someone’s name, number or destination after they’ve said no, sexual names, comments and demands, following, flasing, public masturbation, groping, sexual assault, and rape.
Besides the fact that they are commonly in danger, some people are blaming them instead of supporting and helping them.

While people blame women for the way they dressed, many are still seaxually harassed by just wearing a simple clothing just like jeans, a plain shirt or a uniform. Its doesn’t mean that they are wearing sexy clothes, you have the right to say stuff without consent. It doesn’t give you a gate pass to treat them sexually. CONSENT IS A MUST!

This exhibition has put up clothes worn by rape victim. Clearly, it shows they clothes is not a factor why they harassed. As you can see, there a dress worn by a kid. Imagine an innocent child being raped. Are you going to tell her “Oh. She’s asking for it.” probably no.
This must come to an end. let us stop the victim blaming culture. Let us help women to: SPEAK UP, STAND UP AND FIGHT FOR THEIR RIGHTS.
